Hey so my dye rotor wont show the blue led when it turns on. Has been a huge set back for me lately and i would like to get this fixed

Do you have the stealth mode activated? That turns the LED off. If not then the LED may have gone out.

Is it the button or the light? If you dont know, just take the gear box out then press the button (when you take it out all you will see is a yellow button). If it turns on then something is wrong with the button piece (is separate from the gear box, but what you see on the outside). To be honest though it should be obvious if the actual button piece is broken, its just plastic. If it doesnt, you probably have stealth mode on, I doubt the LED on it is already dead.

Never heard of stealth mode before , i know a guy who also has an led not working , how is the stealth function changed ?

Not sure, read the manual, its been posted in this forum a few times too; search.

You take the gearbox out, black box under the battery tray, and remove three screws to take the top lid off. There is a small chip that really just completes the circuit to light the led. I could see it getting knocked loose sometimes. Or enough for the circuit to be broken.

Personally I have mine removed. The light in my eye annoyed me.
