i use a small flat head screwdriver and slide it under the macro line collar and twist to lift the head a bit. there are teeth in there designed to grab the line.
try taking the line out and checking for holes from those teeth, also clean off any goop you might find.
hope that helps.

Most people here will probably tell you to replace the fittings. It may help to trim the macroline corners gently, and ensure the macroline is seated all the way in the fitting.

I got this
This has happened to me. What you want to do:
1. Buy a new macro line(About 5 dollars)
2. Take it out, but blue loctite on it, and let it dry.
You can also try tefflon tape, but it does not work as well.

1. Macroline is 1.49
2. Why the **** would you loctite macroline?
3. If you're talking about a fitting, you want to use teflon tape no matter what.

As usual, you don't know what you're talking about. Blue loctite is a thread locker and thread sealant. It also works much better than any teflon tape.

I just bought new fittings but beware, the current fittings are incredibly hard to get off. No matter what you do they dont budge. I have yet to get them off.

I know it's a thread locker. I don't know why you'd use it on macroline.

you can heat them up, some do use a hair dryer on them, or using a heat gun to heat it up at the end of the fitting will help....
if using a heat gun, just don't overheat it, possibly can use a small propane torch, have used all 3 ways myself...

Did you read my post? It's not just a thread locker, it also seals threads. If you use teflon tape over thread locker then you are prone to leaks. No paintball gun manufacture uses teflon tape to seal threads...they use a thread locker. Some use the green stuff which requires a heat gun or something similar to loosen the fitting. The blue stuff is designed to be remove with the use of standard tools...no heat required.

Manufacturer's use a thread locker when installing the macroline fittings themselves yes, but teflon tape is just as effective as a thread locker and air seal. The question at hand was what to do is his macroline fitting was leaking, what to do. Replacing the fittings is usually a good thing to do because the Dangerous Power ones don't last as long. However, trimming your macroline to fit snugly and well is ALWAYS going to be the most key thing to keep it from leaking.

Get a new line and cut evenly as to sat properly in the macro fitting hole. DO NOT PUT THREAD SEALANT/LOCKER IN OR ON THE MACRO FITTING LINE HOLE OR MACROLINE... The thread sealant should be used on the macro line fitting THREADS ONLY... Just wanted to clear up the argument you two are having. Hope this helps
