Hello i recently bought a used B2k PDS and it seemed to have worked fine, but then i realized was shooting weak. So i didnt think much of it but when i brought it to the field the next weekend it would not pass the chrono. It was only shooting at 130 fps max, so i tried adjusting the velocity through the knob on the back and it did nothing. I then tried to adjust the velocity on the bottom of the regulator with an alan key and that when i turned it left it created a small leak. When i turned it more the gun would barely even fire, the balls would just drop out. turned it the other way and same thing happend. so i tried for about an hour and no adjustments were working, gave it to the guys at the shop and they had no idea what to do because it was "too old" of a gun. Im not an avid paintballer more a casual once in a while one, and just trying to see if anyone could help me with advice.. thanks

Your paintball shop sucks if they cannot figure out how to turn up the HPR and LPR... Just saying.

Do you have a picture of the gun? Or a description of any aftermarket parts on the marker?

Also we need to establish the year of your marker. Since you have PDS i assume you have a 2003-2004, should look something like this (my B2k4)

It sounds like your LPR is too high.

please read the FAQ on what the gun has, and how to tune it. the regs sound like they are out of balance and all over the place. like what was said before, the LPR is too high and i couldn't tell you about the HPR. if you have a gauge on the HPR, what is the gauge saying? it should be around 200psi.

with that, zero out the regs. turn on air, turn the HPR up to about 200psi, turn the LPR in till the bolt moves back then give a quarter turn more. shot the gun. do this with a chrono and see what the velocity is at. adjust velocity up through the HPR till you get to field speeds. that should be it.

at the most, i can and have worked on them. i am not certified, but i am decent at teching B2Ks. if you have lost all hope, you can send it to me and i will see what you have and what is wrong. this is up to you. also, this is more of a side project and my turn around, because of work, life and is not great. i can go through the gun, get it working and go from there.

Also if your using the stock regulator, they tend to lose adjustment over time due to the plunger stem pushing into the plunger body (most likely why they recommend using a LP tank)
