i currently have a E99 avant and am wondering if there is any mods to upgrade. i currently have a rocking trigger that works great. i also use a Vlocity JR hopper( wonderful hopper for the price).i read about a Anti chop upgrade but thats all that i have really seen.

also can i change the feedneck from the two bolt feedneck to the one with tabs or any upgrade for the feedneck . thanks

Depends on how much you want to spend. You can spend over $100 to make it a very smooth and consistent marker, or you can just buy a newer Spyder that comes from the factory with all of the same upgrades.

The big things are:
Barrel (J&J Ceramic or CP one-piece are cheap but effective)
Compressed air tank
Clamping feed neck (look for one listed 'with screws')

Some home mods you can do:
Polish the bolt and striker
Remove the venturi from the stock bolt
Open up/add passages in the vertical adapter for better airflow
Open up the stock valve

Things that may put your budget above the cost of a new Spyder:
Regulator
New delrin bolt (Alamo City two o-ring version is a common choice)
Aftermarket valve

Upgrade as much as you want, just know that you're doing it for the sake of doing it, not because you want the best Spyder on the market. I'm very happy with my modded Rodeo, but it cost more to build than a brand new Spyder (Fenix? I forget what's out now) would cost me.

If your looking for a project great, but it will be cheaper to just buy a newer one.

Your BEST UPGRADEs are tank, loader, and paint. just remember that. They work will all markers not just spyders. The VL jr. will serve you fine.

Then barrel, feedneck. Old spyders have rather crappy barrel, but the new ones are just fine. start looking, but any 1-piece barrel will be better than stock and you probably don't need a full kit. CCM makes good quality feedneck, then there's idk trinity makes budget feed necks. I actually for my e-99 use an ion thread adapter so i can use many different feednecks. ( tabed with holes is e99)

Free mods!- look em up, can be useful if you have the skill/tools.

anything more you will need to pick up a regulator and spring kit to start. I suggest using the search function to help you start.

ion thread adapter ? i googled it . couldnt find anything . i really hate the stock feedneck and replacements for the spyder feednecks .

What's wrong with the replacement clamping feednecks out there? I have a trinity one that I like.
