Is this Impulse worth fixing?
Hi. First of all, I've never owned an SP gun, so I have little to no knowledge of them. I purchased a large lot of tippmann 98 guns, and when I opened one of the parts boxes it had this:
Is this something that would be worth trying to fix or rebuild?
Thanks!

Maybe. All that put together is worth about 70-80 on ebay, maybe a bit more on a forum. It looks like the parts you will need to find are: trigger for the frame, which might be tricky since that is an aftermarket frame, a feedneck, and a nipple to go on the LPR plus about 1" of microline hose. Also, grips. All that is assuming the solenoid, circuit board, and regulators are functional which can't be checked without the missing parts.
I'd say you could probably make 20-30 bucks by selling it if you can find the missing parts for cheap. Otherwise, it is probably going to be a wash/slight loss to make it work again.
Good luck.

Hunter knows whats up, however I'm sure it was parted for a reason... It also would need a daughter board and harness, for vision. And the trigger will be a a slight setback, but I believe acid customs can make one for you.
I'm not advertising another website, but impulse-owners.com Would be the place to look for the trigger and daughterboard, maybe even micro hose's for the lpr, you could also just take off the lpr, seeing how it doesn't even have a termite, nipple
All in all, if you only shoot tippmans, this impulse would be a pleasant surprise, as it's performance far surpasses the tippman...
And if you want to sell it, I will take it for $20 PayPal, pm me if so

It is not a vision mainboard. You can tell because it is missing the connector. It cannot be upgraded to vision just by buying a vision daughterboard, you will need a completely new mainboard as well.

Oh snap hunter, I Didn't study the board, I should have noticed that myself
just the fact it had a vision cover with no upperboard threw me off...

Honestly I would just part that out. Parts are getting hard to find for classic Imps.

Seems like you have most of the parts there just as hunter says, I wouldn't put more than 30 dollars in it if you plan on selling it. Trigger will be extra hard to find unless you get a different frame.

Thanks for all the replies/info. I'm not a Tippmann user, i just got a killer deal on about 30 of them, along with a ton of miscellaneous DM, Ion, BL, PE and other parts. I'm probably just going to part it all out as suggested. Maybe someone can get some good use out of it! Thanks!

FYI - I just priced a trigger for that OTB frame from Acid Custom. $50. Then you still need the grips. It is a blind board, but may take the ECS upgrade since I don't see the white tag on the chip. That can be done by yours truely over on I-O for $15. Essentially, you'd have a blind BlackHeart board then. The LPR is missing the hose fitting. Not an easy part to get. (If you have one, I'll be happy to buy it.)

You can put it back together with a little help from google and some friendly videos. Only worth maybe $100 tops though. Good luck.
A few aftermarket parts there. decent find.
