Quest parts/Upgrades
Hey everybody im getting a gorgeous quest soon but i want to upgrade it a little but there aren't many websites that have any parts and or many upgrades to choose from since its an old gun in a way. Where would be a good place to upgrade my quest from? where do my fellow quest owners get upgrades from? Should i keep looking around or just try to find someone on PBN that i can buy some parts from so let me know what you guys think!

Critical should have all you need, even the bolt. There is talks of an oled mod, but that's... Meh. Look for an ape rampage board, and also try hustle paintball, they have ape boards. I've got a lucky board in mine. Best upgrade you can do is the nlbolt, then do the juit mods to the regulators and these guns shoot absolute.tits. Hope that helps. Oh, yeah, best bolt kit.imho is the 4b from thin air sports.

Although good luck getting a 4B now, since I think 31st is now sold out, so unless you can find one being parted out, won't be able to get one.
The RSF bolt from Critical is nice. Not as nice as the 4B, but still nice.

Well the quest already has a ape board which is great and critical bolt so i was thinking about just getting the Gold member bolt but ill look into the 4b. idk i just want to make this gun perfect in a way so it runs like a charm

If you already have a RSF bolt, dont wast your time and money looking for or buying a Goldmember. RSF trumps the GM bolt but the 4B is a different story.

Juits mods are easy and they wont ruin the gun... I can vouch for that I've done em to all my quests.
Drilling into the aluminum is easy. Just drill anywhere in the spring section of the regs, between the washer and the piston. Just don't want the hole so big that dirtl get in when you're playing

well my reg would be a cp reg so its not the stock reg for the quest so should i still drill into it and still do it? so does it matter which reg it is when doing the juit mod

CP's are already drilled, so you'll want to do it to the LPR only, you can do it to the adjustment screw if you don't want a permanent hole in the LPR cap (did that to all my timmy LPR's).

They let the back pressure in the cap/spring section vent into the atmosphere, so you don't get an air spring pushing back against your piston. This improves reaction time on the reg, increasing the recharge rate and consistency.

It's 1 little hole, since you have the CP HPR on there. The adjustment screw's washer should be that, a washer, not a coin; so that's one less hole to worry about if you plan on drilling the screw. If you're drilling the cap, then you'll need to drill fore of the threaded section, but behind the adjustment screw threads.
And no there shouldn't be any leaks, not unless your piston o'ring goes bad.

Perspective. If the 4B bolt had never been released, the RSF would be AMAZING when compared to the stock bolt and goldmember bolt.
However, the 4B bolt is better than RSF.
