why are you set on spending 500-600 on a marker? if you look around you will find that the new markers really are not much better than a highly upgraded older marker. personally i recently picked up an impulse which shoots as well if not bettter than most the markers i have shot.

but if your dead set on getting a 500-600 gun then i would go something along the lines of possibly a g6r which i saw one for 550 the other day and i feel like bob long is a great company to buy from. he often comes to my field in my hometown with his team to practice and what not so ive always recieved excellent service from him.

Not really set on that price range, but I know you can get a well gun for that price range. I am willing to get an older gun, I just wouldnt like something from '06 for example. 6 years old? a bit too much for me, I want to stick with this gun for a few years..

Why do so many people hate on Shockers?
I have also thought of getting an '08 Ego, or an Axe.. i love luxe but that won't happen unless I win the lottery

shockers from my point of view have alot of known problems and from my experience need lots of maintanence to keep it running well. 08 egos are supposedly some of the best egos made and are well priced. an axe is just a larger slightly upgraded mini so take a look at that also if you are thinking about an axe

used guns are the way to go but an etek might be something to look into or an older model dm or ego. Should get you a nice gun in your budget.
