You can't touch your teammates until the refs check all live players, you could possibly be wiping a hit. I know a high 5 is a little extreme for a penalty, but that's the rule! Now you know though, you won't make that mistake again, haha!

I just read the rule book again, and must have missed it? Is this an interpretation of some rule or did I just miss it? Would appreciate someone pointing me to it please.

Personally we had no issues at all with the reffing. One of my guys barely, baaaarely spun on a player while doing a run through and the ref popped him on it. No chance in the world at a PSP event that it would have been called a spin. Super legit on the refs part.

I saw them blowing up the pros with red flags for hand on the head and talking after being hit. It was a little inconsistent later on in the tournament but I was glad to see it come out strong. I wish this would have been as strictly enforced on the divisional fields. Check out the Millenium league, they don't mess around.

I was happy. There are some rules that I don't agree with (can't play with ripped pants) but it's not the refs fault for enforcing it.

I saw a lot of confusion about players getting pulled when jumping through the 50 snake.

You can't split that bunker, that's why players were getting pulled without being hit after they jumped through.

I think Fraige and Jrab got that call.

Can say that Dave ran a good squad of refs on field 3. While I'd like to see more closer checking knowing that it's D3 & most things get dismissed since it's a lower division when it comes to close calls. I traded in one of our last games Saturday that guy wasn't called out went in for the flag/hang & was called clean for the hang. Not really sure how that happened but would have made the cut for Sunday if they would have been called on a dirty hang & max points given.

I do enjoy the hand on the head & hope it's enforced strongly. Always had the instinct to do it after playing a season of the Millennium Series & it helps to reduce overshooting & deadman walking in games.
