SLG 10 not firing on the first few shots

I have a 2010 SLG...this is the issue i am experiencing with it:
- the first 1-3 trigger pulls i hear the solenoid clicking but it doesn't shoot paint. then after the first 3 shots it starts shooting.
- this happens every time i stop pulling the trigger and wait a few seconds in between pressing the trigger again.

any ideas?

change the battery, I have 99% that your problem is because of this

mine used to do that...I took mine to dye and they rebored it about .016. I believe the bolt is getting stuck. Check your orings too. I had to get more of the green oring that keeps breaking, the green oring used to be black, the green ones are stronger than the black.

this is what i think.
PLEASE try this first.
open your grips, if your battery moves AT ALL in the battery well, shove a piece of folded up paper in between the bottom of the battery well, turn ur gun back on and fire and see if it works properly

whats the logic behind this? I mean if its getting power.. which it is according to the board being on.. what does this have to do w the first shot?

to prev poster...
I already have the green oring.. assuming you're talking about the one on the outside of the bolt

also.. the weird part is that this first shot not shooting thing only happens when i am shooting paint.. it doesn't happen when i am dry firing the marker.

If it's happening when you're shooting you might have a rollback issue. Try putting one ball in the breach and tilt it back and see if the eyes turn red. Might have balls jamming in the breach. Do you break paint?

And about the green oring. I've had times where the green oring looks like its good but when you take it out you'll see it's separating from each other.

I had exactly the same problem. Except it happened when Id turn the gun off between matches.
Never figured it out. Just made sure to shoot a cpl before the round starts

I have a feeling it has something to do with bolt stick, i replaced a few orings but haven't paintballed in a while.. so haven't had a chance to try it yet.

Mine does it too if its been sitting around for a bit. I think bolt stick is right. When there is fresh lube it doesnt seem to happen for me. It isnt the eyes/role back because the solenoid clicks.

Let me know if you figure out that it is something else that can be fixed

new orings didn't help.

I contacted Dye.. it sounds like they are aware of the issue and will do an update on any SLG experiencing this for free. In fact they have some known issues for SLG that they do an update for. (they wouldn't give me the details)

you just need to pay for shipping there. This is the route i am taking.

call Dye at 858 536 5183 and get an RMA number from them. Then it's 2 week turn around time acc to them.
