I on the other hand love Empires. The higher end ones are super comfy and durable and offer good protection.

Laysick, i've been sponsored by many and wore last years models of dye, dxs and empire pants.
Laysick are just excellent. If you can't get a pair i'd say the dye are pretty nice since 09.

Empire .. maybe not as durable as dye pants but I think they are more comfortable and I like the features like having a microfiber attached to the pocket.
but it doesn't really matter what I or any one else thinks...it matters what YOU think... try going to a field and trying them on...

For UNDER $100? I got my used C11s for 65. I love them. I also have a pair of 2010 eclipse pants that I really like and got for cheap. I havent had much exposure to empire pants but my friend loves his, as well as his invert pants, which are 5 years old and holding up great. If you ask me, I'd say go with the c11s. But this thread should show you that it's really hard to make a bad choice when buying pants.

DYE pants are bulletproof. Find some used ones and never look back.

I've had my angel pants for like 5 years now. and they're still good as new! love them to death. never tried a different pair because they haven't torn yet. my friend has player pants and he swears by those, another friend has some dye c9's and he really likes those. all personal preference i think, but there is a good variety to choose from.
