I am not a field owner, but I have used many a marker and I can also attest to the workhorse nature of the Tippmann brand. They make a marker that is about as indestructible as you can get. If you are focusing more on recball and 'woodsball', then you cannot go wrong with those. And you can't go wrong with Tippmann's customer service, either.

But, it might be a good idea, once you get on your feet, to invest in a few other markers as well. As was stated above, the Azodin Kaos is very durable, much moreso than any spyder I have ever used has been. He was fairly accurate in describing it as a hunk of metal with a firing mechanism.

Sterling infernos if you want a semi. Made in England super easy to strip, and sturdy. But these guns are made to order in a factory that would does BMW racing engines and can let you wait a few months for your order. Only 90 English pounds when I got mine. Worth the wait. Much better than Tippmans.
better looking, lighter, faster, easier to strip, and well built, high quality. Very long air tanks available in N.Z. for 170 N.Z.$ retail.
