The only fields that are need to be changed from the Galvenston layout would be the Pro fields not the others the others could and should have a diffrent layout. Not that hard to understand what needed to be changed and what did not. PSP fails in their logit as to why they are doing this.

Other divisions play those fields during the event, I assume?
- at least they do Sunday
As such, you would be faced with teams either not getting to play the main fields, or being forced to play some games on an entirely other layout.
Either way, I understand the decision, just not the reasoning they have chosen to make public.

My biggest question now is the same teams going to place top 4 again? Since they already did well on this layout will they do it again?
Can they be consistent or did they just get lucky and have a good sunday? This will be interesting to see!

Good reviews about the Layout? Thats bull****. An there worried about pros having to learn to fields...... there profesionals what the **** they dont even pay to play. Also regardless Psp knew the time frame from TX to PX. Psp every season you make it harder to stay loyal. **** scratch that every event it seems harder.

Wonder how this will affect the competition? WIll it stay the same or will the younger teams with less experience get a better feel for the field and gain some sort or advantage over others?

I think this is a bunch of HYPE.. PSP releases the layout of the event 1- 2 weeks prior. lets wait and see any changes

I understand that you don't want to play the same layout twice but it will play different in decent conditions and this really is the only way it is fair to all the pro teams. To make the divisional teams play a new layout then have to play the Galveston layout in the finals so that they can be webcast seems pretty crazy.

got an email from the PSP a couple days ago giving this the exact same layout information and explanations for their decisions, so def. not rumors. Phoenix will have the same layout as Galveston.

seems logical.
as someone said, they should have adressed the logistical factor better, as it is for me the main concern.
but in the end the result is the same and i agree with the call.
it is definetly going to be interesting to see if the teams that win galveston show their results were not a fluke.

I think what he was trying to say is that no one besides the pros were not able finish their games and thus where able to continue to play and end the tournament. I think that just because the pros were halted doesn't mean that the next event should be a carry over. Just because the pro division wasn't able to, doesn't mean it (the event) should be a rerun. I agree that the first of the event should be for the pros, but only on thursday. The PSP should have the typical 1 field for the pros to finish on thursday on the Galveston layout, then after that night you go into the PHX layout. To start fresh on Friday through the weekend. No other field set up should be the Galveston layout but rather the new PHX layout. Having to play the same event for the teams that do go to each one of these events I see as stale and laziness on PSP part, which is unexpected.
Players are paying 2-3+ thousand dollars for a great time and experience, not hey "lets just do the same thing because of one very small and selective group, and we don't want to pay for more help to move the field around for this one group". I also think that for the pro's I would be pissed because the matches are going to be a stale and repetitive repeat of Galveston.
