The gauge is for the high pressure.
It will bleed air from the solenoid if the LPR is set to high. With the freestyle solenoid, it is not recommended to turn the LPR up until it bleeds.
Most leaks can be solved through that troubleshooting guide. If it is a slight leak down the barrel, check the 020s on the outside of the bolt assembly and the 017 on the bolt piston and the can piece. Those are the usual culprits from me.
