Hold down the trigger when you turn it on. If it dry fires, then it is a nox board, a kila board, or a fixed stock board. The kila board has dip switches, so that is easy to see. The nox will be labeled on the board as nox and has a gold tournament lock button. A stock fixed board will be labeled ICD XXXX. I don't recall what the numbers are for the stock fixed board.
The predator lite board will dry fire when if you turn it on, then hold down the trigger until the led flashes. On the board, it will say ICD 9500, as I recall. I think some of these were reflashed with a different code, but this is the exception and not the rule. There are also freestyle Chaos boards, but I am not familiar with those. The Chaos boards are labeled as such.

turn gun on, hold down trigger wait for the noid click. if it clicks or "dry fires" then you have your answer. if you hold down the trigger before turning it on, you might enter a "programing mode" for some of the boards, like Chaos.
pictures would help greatly on the ID.

Yes. Hold down the trigger, turn on the marker.
If it does nothing, try turning the marker on, then hold down the trigger.

AFAIK the ND FS7 should have come with NOX reloaded. My ND FSP came with it stock but I could be wrong if they changed soemthing when they did the fs7.
When you open the grips you should be able to see white printing on the board if it is a NOX or ICD 9500 board.

To get it into current PSP rules, you will have to set it manually. It has a PSP mode on it, but it is from 2007 or 2008.
I don't think the NDFS7s came stock with Nox. I think some of the NDFSPs did.
