I want GI/DXS, and KEE paint!

I would of thought APX would of been great because of APX being on the West coast

Or do they have their paint made across seas?

That wasn't my point; my point was that, if it sat in Asia for a week, and then was at sea for 2 weeks, and then it took another week in the US to repackage it (in New Jersey), and then another week to send it to California, that paint is at minimum 5 weeks old. We all know that fresh paint is more consistent. Varying conditions (ie temperature, humidity, and failure to rotate stock) are a good way to produce an inconsistent ball (as far as shape and shell).

KEE/DXS/G.I. all manufacture their paint that is national tournament bound within 10 days of the start of the tournament, store it in a climate controlled facility, and then it is on one climate controlled truck, often the same truck that is at the event that you pickup your paint from.

I spoke with an APX Representative, he said their paint was all manufactured "locally" and it appeared to be consistently shaped, and well manufactured, its just a smaller, new company that came into the encapsulation industry. They don't have 20+years of manufacturing experience and research and development (time and money) behind them like KEE/DXS/G.I.
