Yes. The same shell is in some of the pics on the divisional fields. Mainly Field 3. I didn't shoot much on Field 2.
Edit: Hypothetically though, it could have been left over from a previous event. Who knows.

Ahh the plot thickens! Thank you JB. I will go through the pictures here after work and see if I can find any connections.
EDIT: Was field 3 the one right next to field 1 or the one behind field 1 near the paint trucks?

Looking at the event facing the ocean field one is the main one, directly to the left is field 2 and field 3 was the furthest away, closest to the water. We rewalked field 2 saturday after play was done just to get more familar with it, and i picked up multiple balls of ultra evil, the corners had quite bit. It was fresh, and was definetly on the field.
Edit: it def wasnt left over from a previous event, it was fresh

I know there was some D1 games played on field 2, and some under contract pros played on D1 teams. So it could be that. Just a though.

The instructions were to only give RPS to the sponsored pro teams. Namely, Impact, Dynasty, XSV, Critical Wrecking Crew, Chicago Legend, and Infamous.
I went through every picture on almost famous. No evil is to be found outside the pro teams.

Follow the chin of his mask down.
Unless you know of another paint that had a turquoise shell...
There's more paint with the same shell color on the ground in this photo.

I believe that was field 3, but I don't remember for sure. The second pic is DEFINITELY Field 3, and I'm sure there's Evil on the ground in that pic.

Second link, picture 11,19, and 20 of 20 appears to be evil. Its hard to tell for sure just because theyre out of focus but it looks like a blueish evil shell. Same type thats only on the pro field.
picture 11-ball is directly to the left of the guys foot standing at the deadbox
19- on the ground u can see that same blue type shell
20-couple balls scattered around that dorito.
doing this from my droid 2 so picture clarity and ease of looking isnt the greatest

I've been looking a lot on many pages and I've been seeing a lot of blueish evil shells on the floor. The early pictures don't have as many but keep looking and you'll start to see more and more.

The early pictures are all pro and the late ones are mostly pro. Almost all the finals games were on field 1 on Sunday. It's hard to tell if those other balls are really evil and when I was looking through all the pictures I was looking more at the players and none of them are carrying it. I am not talking about 3-4 balls on the field I am looking for people that are carrying and shooting evil which none of these pictures show outside the pros.

Hey I know the pro players came out wednesday and i think thursday to practice the layouts. Is it at all possible that most of this paint is from their practice games from earlier on in the week? I know i saw this same color paint on the field when walking the fields on thursday morning.

Yes, they lost a fair game as far as players are concerned, but if the Raiders were allegedly shooting illegal paint, then that still makes it unfair.
TCP Machine is a team that has been competing in the NPPL since its first event. They have played many full NPPL seasons with many podium finishes including 2007 Division 1, 2008 Semi-pro Division, 2011 Division 2, etc. Therefore, don't go off shunning them for being "sore losers". These guys have been playing paintball in this league well before most of us. They are good sportsmen, and they definitely deserve a say in what they saw.

We (Camp P Raiders) are a Valken sponsored team. There is no way we would ever shoot any other paint at practice or an event. We used the Valken purple shell paint and it shot great all weekend. The controversy came after the TCP game as we were pitting with Infamous who was shooting Evil. In turn, they had Evil boxes of paint on the tables behind us. NPPL officials came into our staging area, looked in our packs and hoppers, spoke with us and Infamous, and confirmed it was their paint and we were not shooting it. That is how it went down and that was the end of it. As far as other D1 and D2 teams shooting Evil, we did not see anyone using it.
