Did anybody else had problem with paint?
Me and the Team I play for, played on Thursday and paint was shooting great to the point where couple of the team members had to get tested on the field for ramping thats how good it was shooting on Thursday we went 7-1 that day. but when sunday came around we was shooting soup and our guys guns went down due to soup in they guns. We had to switch to a 695. but not everybody on the team had one so we had to go too the next thing which was a 693. which wasnt working nether so we lost in the finals. so I just wanted to know did anybody else had this problem it was the Valken pro.

4/7 of my players were smashing the Pro. Markers from a CSL to Victory to my Species. The next grade down worked perfectly. I heard similar complaints about the Pro from other teams

The Redemption Pro shot great for us on friday. We had a couple guns have trouble on saturday with it, but we pulled through. Sunday we started using a mix of Redemption and Redemption pro. Some of our front players were getting breaks while diving with the pro, so we put redemption in their hoppers off break. Some guns shot the pro fine on sunday, others made soup.

I ran an .685 all thursday and would have occasional breaks. Also shooting Pro. I asked the Valken rep and they said they were kind of afraid the pro might be a little brittle. Only two people on my team had problems, me and my buddy were both shooting Ego11's with "smaller" barrels. If I had switched to my .689 I think everything would have been good.

I shot the Valken Pro the whole event. My team played 6 matches. I used a .689 CP barrel it was fine for the most part had a few barrel breaks then I switched to a .693 CP back and it shot just great, in the finals I switched back to the .689 didn't have any breaks that match and it was super brittle helping us get crucial kills off the start. I was using a Geo 2.

I was shooting the APX Fyre Elite. Most of it was brittle enough to get breaks, but some was pretty hard that it bounced like a golfball on the walkway in the pits. Only one barrel break though the entire event.

It was real brittle when paint is cold. We heated it up in the sun in the
Bags for 15 min and it did well. I became a master
Paint baker when we were shooting angels. They used to really
Hit the ball hard and we mowed brittle paint. Trick is to warm the shell up just enough. It's sort of trial and error. If you ever overheat the bag, then poke a pin hole in it and squeeze hot air out and put in a cool spot. once the ball feels hard enough you cannot feel the shell flex when you squeeze it, then it should be fine. Not fool proof but works alot. In the summer we pack our bags
In a cooler with bag of ice under cardboard(sealed bags only) on top. Keeps it
As close to perfect as possible.

This is why most if not all paint companys have 2 choices of paint. I for one have always wanted the most brittle paint I can get my hands on at events.
I used a 689 F/S with one barrel break over both days. Sunday I used a 693 and had 2 barrel breaks once I switched. I thought the paint I shot worked very well and was happy with it.

Ain't that the truth. I had one really oblong ball block my breach on my second to last game. We were later told that the Agro pro was the better of the two paints.

We shot apx and it refused to break. Like no joke and no exaggeration we literally through it on the ground like a bouncy ball and it would bounce back up 3 feet into our hands. We then started to play a game where we would see how many times we could bounce it back into our hand before it finally broke. We averaged a minimum of 10 bounces before it broke bust got all the way up to 22. And I'm not talking dropping it out of our hands but actually giving it a soft toss to the ground like you would a bouncy ball and it just flying back up into our hands. There were some teams doing it with the valken paint as soon as they saw how much fun we were having tidings ours as bouncy balls

The Valken Pro shot great for us Friday and Saturday, but Sunday was a whole different story. A few of my teammates and myself were shredding paint the first game and after the game we rechecked the barrel sizes we were using. With a .695 some of the balls would go through but about 1 out of 10 could not be forced through they were so big and/or out of round. We switched to the regular redemption but unfortunately it wasn't as brittle as the Pro.
Also Valken charged us $635 extra for paint we did not shoot. I called them after the event and they confirmed it was their mistake, but what's to stop teams from going up to paint trucks and getting paint under a different team name?

Shot APX and as stated it was bouncy as all heck. Also, the bore size I was using was .679 and it was still rolling through. Only had one issue with an oblong paintball that was blocking the feedneck on my Luxe.

In my opinion,
one of the problems of the Valken paint, is that it is manufactured in Asia and not locally. It may have been weeks, or even months, in varying humidity conditions from desert to being on the ocean for 2 weeks in a container. The balls were on a regular basis oblong and not well rounded. I think this paint was not fresh and could have been a lot better.
I want GI/DXS, and KEE paint!

needs to b all brands of paint at the event. when ur dropping mad cash to play the event and are forced to choose between super hard paint and super swollen stuff, thats just not fair is it? when the pros can shoot watever they want.
