What do you suggest?
Whats up guys? Wanting to get back into playing but I need to buy a gun first. Im a front player. Looking for something inexpensive light accurate and durable. What do you guys think would be a good gun? What do you think about axes? Thanks

axes are great guns to have that can definitely compete with the other high ends out there. ive personally owned 3 of them. but honestly if your willing to go used i would get a nice 07-09 ego or dm. (preferably dm but thats just my personal preference)

pretty sure trademygun had a dm7 for 300 or 350 recently, same price as i paid for my dm7 2 years ago. the only thing i like about the newer guns is the eye pipes and the colored o-rings
axe shoots well though, just doesn't feel good to me.

Thanks for the feedback guys! Before i sold my gun i used to have an ego 07 and it lasted me forever with no issues and it was used when i bought it... What is it about the axes that are so good?

Honestly if I were you I would try to find another 07 or 08 ego. Im sure you can find them for the same price as the axe (especially now) and since you are already familiar with them it's less likely you will have gun issues. It's more important to get out there to play rather than tinkering out with new toys. Stick with what you know that works and just focus on getting back out there to hit the grind. Just my $0.02, but do what you feel is best.
