Couldn't you just sell the O-rings as an "update kit"? Not sure if they're PTFE coated or something that would result in a need to alter the dimensions of the grooves, but maybe worth looking in to. People should know if regular o-rings can be used as a replacement, if the custom o-rings don't quite line up with standard sizing. I guess there's only 2 seals (017 outer) on the bolt that would be affected, though?

Yes that will be happening. I just have to keep up with the demand of the bolt before I start offering the o-ring upgrades. I should be on it very soon.

Have you thought about bolt guide orings as well? Sounds like they could give benefit as well. Also would these outer orings work on any bolt?

Really debating getting this. I currently have V2 bolt and running 130psi and 1.5 turns and dwell 4 and shooting amazing. I am sure I can lower dwell, but would rather keep a little higher for no shoot down or consistancy problems.
I have maybe close to 70-75 cases and couple hundred reballs through it. Been reeballing friday nights lately.....
Hope the next upgrades come out soon.

I run the same settings with my V2 but I'm always down to try something new. I'm going to try to post up a comparison video this weekend.

Got my new infamous bolt!!! It is awesome!!! I can't wait to take it to the field this saturday and try it out. Was only able to try it out in the back yard but i do not have a chrono so can't tell about the fps.
I'm not sure but to me it seemed like my gun has a little bit more of a kick than before. Settings are 140 psi, 3ms dwell (12 orange blinks) 1.5 turns out velocity.
Boss any idea what I'm doing wrong or thats the way it is?

It does not have more kick, you may be shooting a bit hot. Get to the chrono and use the reg to adjust the velocity.

Please forgive me for asking this again but I just don’t understand the springs. If the longest spring provides the softest shot and best performance, why sell the others? Is there a benefit to having a lighter spring? Better reliability maybe?
Sorry, I’m new to the mini’s and Axes.

I never said the longest spring provides the best shot. It simply is a option to tune the marker a little different to fit your needs. In fact all of the pro guns that I setup used the short spring. I am going to be doing some testing this week to see what I can come up with for setting that will get us more shots without sacrificing our ability to shoot very fragile Ultra Evil. Guys like Rich, Travis and Junior bring a ton of paint on the field with them.

If by chance you come up with some other tuning methods, could you be kind enough to share them

Hi boss. Is buying just the bolt not an option? I have a spring kit already don't need another one. Would like just the bolt.

Close the poppet down from the sweet spot (maybe more like .75 turns out), raise the pressure, then set dwell last, minimizing it. You can run a bit less dwell at the higher pressure. I also recommend polishing the brass outer diameter of the poppet, since when actuated it's not stable in the gun. YMMV.
Bolt timing has remarkably little impact on the efficiency of the gun, it's all in the poppet system. Unfortunately, with the lighter spring, higher pressures get harsher and harsher. The v2's clever integrated bumpering system will help a bit, but you're essentially fighting yourself when going for the overall tuned gun effect.
