using one reg with three different guns

So I have 3 different guns.

Lasoya Promaster
Wgp trilly pro
SP ion

What are your guys thoughts on using one reg and rotating between the guns as you use them? Yes, there would be more wear and tear as well as maintenance, but is there anything else I should be considering?

I am primarily using an empire reg but I also have a used stock ion reg. I have read some great things about the stock ion regs but have not gotten a chance to use it.

Thanks for looking!

I guess it wouldn't be that big of a deal. To make your life easier you can make a pressure tester, and write what pressure the reg was running when each gun was shooting well. Then you can set the reg before you even put it on the next gun.

You can find regs in the bst section pretty cheap though.

That would be a huge PITA. Each guns works at different pressures and would make chroning a challenge each time you switch guns.

What happened to the stock regs? The stock regs on the Trilogy and SP Ion are actually really good regs. People assume they suck because they come on cheap guns. If you are having performance problems it isn't the reg unless the reg isn't working properly. In that case it would just need a new o-ring or two.
