I am talking to Chris (the air guy who does LL for us) and he has a new company called "Swap My Tank."

He's considering renting 45k HPA tanks for $20 for the event with a credit card deposit.

Would you guys that are crossing the border or flying be interested in that?

Just outta curiosity, what sized tank? I might not be coming from across the border, but I might see if my friend wants to rent, as I may be a tank short. Would these come with the ability to fill them up for the weekend without buying a seperate all day air tag?

That's a pretty good idea especially for people flying who don't want to deal with removing their tank reg.

I think having the availability would be a great asset. Thing is, there's more cases than we might think where someone might need to rent a tank. Forgot it in the basement, found out the reg on theirs has gone bad, forgot to get it hydrotested (guilty of that once or twice), have a 3k and would rather have a 4.5k for the final battle, have only ever run CO2 and would like to try compressed air before shelling out the purchase price. The list goes on and on. It's a great idea.

The try before you buy idea is really compelling. There are probably some guys and gals out there that feel that CO2 is just fine so no need to shell out more cash, when they might not be aware of the convenience of compressed air tanks.

You would still have to buy an air tag for them. The field requires an air tag for all tanks being filled.
