The only thing we ask of our players is to make sure that you can commit to your team. We expect our Novice team to play in every Blitz tourney starting with the upcoming April 15th 5-man. Part of this commitment means showing up to at least one practice before a tourney. That means being able to play at least two Sundays a month. Obviously, having financial backing to support this is mandatory.
Have a good attitude, be receptive to criticism, and have fun. We're not asking a lot.

Okay cool, and yeah would defiantly be interested in novice. In the blitz tournament series, how much on average would you say that the tournament costs. How much money would someone need to attend a tournament?

A good number to start with is $200-$300 a month.. If you spend less, great! Always assume more than less... Fewer surprises that way...

Yeah I think Spanky got it right here, depending on how much you're playing. I spent about $100 - $160 on paint per tournament at Blitz playing rookie last summer ($50 or $55 per case for the good stuff on tourney day), I assume it's more for open class with more paint flying. If you get involved with a team that plays regularly at the Blitz, it will be slightly cheaper.

For novice/rookie, $200 will be plenty enough.
Also, the Saints have always split tourney costs 6-ways (we always field 6 for 5-man tourneys). We never count how much paint one person shoots vs. another. We promote playing as a team and if that means your back guys have to shoot a little more paint so that your front players can move up and get the kills, so be it. However, if the Novice team as a whole wants to split costs based on who shot how much amount of paint, that will be your decision.

Sorry I didn't update sooner. We had tryouts over the weekend and have picked 6 players that will be joining the ranks of the Mile High Saints. Below are the names of the players that made it:
Adam Stout (SacraficialSoul)
Zach Stout (Drippin?)
Mike (mikevillemaire42069)
Anthony (speedball-p-ball)
Mitch (Mitchydean01)
Paul (???)
For those of you who tried out or were interested, sorry you didn't make the cut. We still may be forming another team and I know these six guys up top will need some fillers from time-to-time. As of now, we are not looking for anymore players. If you're interested in being a filler, please contact Adam or Mike.
Thanks to all who tried out and congrats to those who made it!!! Welcome to the Saints!

Yes, please PM me if you are interested in being an alternate. We are going to need one on April 15th and June 10th currently.
Thanks Poopshute, I'm stoked to be a saint!

Firstly I'd like to welcome and congratulate all our new players! It's looking like it's gonna be a great season.
I also wanted to take a moment to recognize all the further interest we received.
Jamez, I'm pretty certain I saw you out there Saturday, and you have been showing up since APC in the winter, so please know there is still a spot for you if you can show up to the next team practice, whether it be the novice practice they are trying to put together this Sunday or the following weekend when the rest of us return from HB. I would really like to see you out on the field and become a part of the team.
As for others who have expressed interest and I may or may not have seen either at APC or Blitz... I will tell you now that there is enough interest to form another novice line.
I have heard on pbnation AND seen interest on the field from the following players:
-Chad (Thewolf86)
-Chris B. (FeintBrawler)
Jackson, let me know if Bryson (brysonator35) is still interested.
Other folks that have vocalized interest via pbnation:
-DenverballerA88
-wicked323
-Andrew Downing (shanagins187)
-xXNOAHXx
-young bliss
-Dylan (D_Hawkes44)
-denverpb
-KayoKilla
-OoanseoO
-keyton10
-Chase (dARKfRiDAY)
-Jordan (jduchien)
-Adam D (Defiance)
All of these players NEED to contact us ASAP and plan to attend a practice in the next 2 weeks before the April 15th 5-man tourney if you want any chance of playing with the Mile High Saints this season!!

Please add Adam and Jordan to the list. It was a really hard decision to cut them. Both good players.
