Tuning Your Axes
Firstly wanted to say great to see you guys doin' solid at Huntington Beach this season, but wondered if we could get some insider info on your Axes. I've seen that you guys use the empire barrel kit, the Nano Feednecks, and the Redline, and I've also read that you guys use stock bolts. I wondered if you could divulge on some of your tuning tips to make your Axes handle the brittle paint of the tournament circuits using the stock bolts. I have a Mini that I really love, and I know the Axe and Mini are similar in how they operate, but even with an upgraaded bolt and spring kit I can't seem to quite get this thing handling even mid-range rec paint the way I want it to.
Thanks in advance for any tips you have for us
Edit: Congrats on winning Huntington Beach! Beat Down City!!

The axes do use stock internals, mostly the players adjust the triggers to how they like it. I am unsure what all the redline settings are however.

As well as running his bolt, and his new one at that.

His new one was at the event, and I saw them in his hands, but as far as I know it never made it into any of the markers. If someone was running the new bolt it would have been Junior. Wizz and I took all of them apart on Thursday night to install the ROF-Fi chips.

Boss said some infamous members were using the new bolt, so I guess I get why the axes shoot so smooth. Will you guys be using them from know on in your guns?

Rich and Junior both shoot 72ci tanks and carry 10 pods. They run out of air right at the end of the 10th pod+hopper.

Speaking of tuning, when can we expect to put our hands on the Beatdown City LE Axe? I've seen some pictures and it's surprisingly beautiful.

I remember boss saying some guys where running 10 dwell and 110psi... I am pretty sure thats the reason why not the greatest efficiency. I am getting 6pods and a hopper using my boss bolt at dwell 4 125psi on my 68ci tank.

I suppose in situations with air readily available efficiency isn't as important as the ability to handle brittle paint

I can only speak for the influence guys....
When we got our guns we didnt touch anything, we adjusted the triggers and let them rip. On sunday Boss did let us use one of his bolts although we didnt get a chance to really tune the gun to the new bolt. Even with the stock settings there was a major difference.
Boss all did all the tech work on the influence guns if it was needed.

the bolts and some fine tuning seem to be the trick to getting the guns shooting well
