This video really doesn't do the situation "justice".
The Damage players continued to shoot for a good 2 seconds after the buzzer went off. Their behavior here made me lose all respect that I had for them. =/
The countdown is clearly heard with the announcer - they (the players) obviously hear the buzzer.
Ref's are waving their hands in the air. Dude running down tape rolling his gun.
Dude running highway that jumps over the snake rolling his fingers. They both have to make the turn to car wash - still rolling finger.
It is ridiculous. Some may argue "well it is HB finals and they were passionate"
that is the most unprofessional, inmature way to handle a losing situation. Complete unsportsmanlike conduct, inexcusable.
Yes he apologized - and I truly hope he is sorry for what he did, as it was an affront to the sport of paintball. But this SHOULD NOT deter the league from handing down a stiff punishment for this senseless act of paintball brutality.
And as a side note - the MC's of the event and to a degree the webcasters also had a hand in bringing down the sport of paintball with their crude comments.
I did well in the tournament in my D4 - it was fun, but in order for this to keep going at a professional level (which it is the national professional paintball league) the pros have to become just that - professionals.
Seriously guys... pause it at :16 seconds, and you'll see that Justin jumps over the snake with his gun up, and what's Jerry doing? Gun up as well. From here on, they're both shooting each other at the same time. At :15, Justin's running full speed, gun down. At :16, both guns up. Both shot at each other at the same time till the refs stopped them. Don't let Frank's personal opinions sway the facts. If someone's shooting at you, you shoot back. If Justin's going to be suspended, then so should Jerry. All you people attacking Justin's character with no valid backing is totally uncalled for and is straight up ridiculous.

Edit: They make it seem like JRab was the only one...the dude behind him was shooting as well, and Jerry was clearly still shooting. Look at the video, it's so obvious, if you miss it you need your eyes checked.
Why would J Rab come out with a statement to apologize about his actions? Maybe he knew his actions were after time elapsed, and was just blowing off steam.

I don't see an apology from any of the other players...from the looks of it they are due as well, if anyone is to apologize.
I would expect one of Justins Dads friends (G-no) to come on here and defend Gods son. Justin apologized cause he knew what he did was wrong. And so did his sponsors. He doesnt want to lose his 14 and under female fan club members either, cause their the only ones who care. JRab has, and always will be a crybaby complainer. Any way he can get the last word in, he will. And that was by continuing to roll his gun and shoot the guy. multiple times. Justin was much nicer, and less of a baby on DC Dev (AKA - before he thought he was famous)

No XSV player was still trying to shoot anyone until damage players continued to progress and shoot them after the game had ended. Not only that, but it was a 3-0 game with less than 20 seconds left, it isn't heart that drives you to that end, it's being a vengeful ******* who wants to get a cheap shot in on the team who outplayed you. And that is why Jrab took a lot of heat, why he should be suspended, and why he was probably forced to apologize.

Ur in the heat of the moment and u continue to play. It's the finals ur down 3-0 with 20 left. Ur gonna play like ur life depends on it. It could have been that Justin did not hear the horn and continued to run down the field and yes the moment you see someone ur gonna shoot them. It happened to me not even two weeks ago. U gotta understand that there are so many factors that play into this and it happens in all sports where players continue to play even after the final whistle because they are concentrated on the game. I will stand behind jrab and defend him but I will also congratulate XSV for their win.
