Its sad that Jacksonville is the largest city in the US and we can't even keep one paintball field in business for more then 2 years.

If it ( the field ) is staffed correctly and has a good setup and support it will last. Wild Bills did really well until Mike took over handling the field. GTF is a nice setup for rec players, has a decent field for speedball but it's prices are too high and the staff is rude. Honestly, it wouldn't take much for a field to last. Gorilla had more than enough rec player business weekend to weekend to hold itself up and make profit.

So here's the idea. Next field that pops up, come play. Every weekend if possible. If not playing, come help out to make sure the play stays safe and noone gets hurt from a lack of refs. Unfortunately enough alot of the players who really love to play aren't old enough to drive and come out just to help so its up to us, the older players, to make sure we help out as much as possible to keep the sport growing and fields in business.
