Im flying in from San francisco very early sunday morning, and have family/friends driving up from San Diego around 7am.

1) What time do the vendor booths open and close?
2) How is the car parking situation?
3) Any recommended eats within walking distance? ?

ANY tips/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Parking is difficult to find at the parking lot right at the event. You will have to either goto a meter on the street of pacific coast highway, the parking garage off main street, or the parking lots past dukes south of the event. It's $15 a day for that parking.

Most vendors open around 8-ish.

Not sure about the food situation. We have been eating fruit every morning and then granola bars through out the day then getting a large meal after the days over.

Tons of stuff within walking distance, good places to park if you want to pay.

there is a parking structure 1 block north of the event. from PCH head north on Main street, make a right on the first stop and about a half block down on your left side. not sure of the name of the street but there it is. as for food, you could try something from the little joint right next to the surf shop or go to Sancho's Tacos across the street...pretty decent quesadillas and tacos. good luck with the parking, enjoy!

Fortunately found parking along the beach, and ended up going to Slater 50/50 for burgers/fries/beer
