>.> still didn't answer my questions 0.o so here goes. beside the frame/lcd/hpr wich really put a new board in and swap over the hpr or even the whole ego 6 frame onto the etek isnt hard and are done with every other gun in existance on a daily bassis. so besides those and the barrel wich is kinda meh, go buy one :/ if you want one, internaly/shooting the guns wich is better etek/05 ego/etek2/ego6 in terms of how smoothness/efficiency/reliabily

In so much as Egos have never come with CP regs, or CP feednecks, and you can't put a Zick2 rammer in an original Etek, there really isn't a direct comparison to make.
The thing is, you have a bunch of different parts from different years, rather than one cohesive whole - it is what it is, an upgraded Etek.
The base marker is most closely related to the '06 Ego, and that is never going to change, no matter what you bolt to it. The frame and Zick rammer are most closely related to the Ego8. The fact that the frame allows the addition of a single QEV relates to the Ego7, and the Cure3+ bolt comes from the Ego10. There isn't any one particular model of Ego that this matches.

I agree about the differences
I read your post and I agree with you. I got and etek on a trade and fell in love with it. Turned around and got a hybrid (so I was told) of an 05/06. That flew paint even better than the etek, but eventually sold that too. Early last year got 2 etek 2's, one stock and one with the star frame and upgraded bolt and rammer. Mine of course is the upgraded etek 2 and it flies paint!! Fastest gun I've ever used. But alas, neither guns are an Ego. Just bought an Ego 10 even though I was looking to get an 08 or 09 depending on price. I was lucky to get the Ego 10. There is no comparison. An etek is an etek and it performs beautifully and I've experienced this. Fought the urge to buy the etek 3 because the Ego kept calling me!! Hands down the Ego can't be compared to the etek. They have the same maker, but they don't perform the same. It's like NCAA Football and the NFL, they play the same game but not at the same level.
