Netting
Who else was gettin shot? I got shot on the lip while watching behind the nets and i was getting shot a few times on the body-.-

Do you mean getting shot by a paintball? Or getting splattered? Splatter happens whenever you're next to a net. It's just life.
Getting shot is different. My friend got lucky and had a narrow miss when a ball broke on the bleachers next to him. Last year at Vegas, he got shot in the ear. Maybe I should avoid him.

I went friday and today and each day someone got hit right next to me. I've seen a bunch of paintballs hit the seats as well. Im waiting to get hit haha

My friend next to me got hit. Saw the broken shell and everything. I got splatter on me. Its understandable though. Paint bouncing off of bunkers and all, I don't mind.

Yeah lol that happened a lot.
I didn't like the pits at the end of the field on the pro fields. That was stupid.

I get hit by a rogue paintball every event I attend. Last nppl chicago during LL4 I was hit about an inch below my eye but I was wearing sunglasses lol.

I got hit while on the lip and that thing swelled lol  i was standing by a gate at the divisional game and it just came towards me lol i only saw shots on the benches at the pro games though

If by getting "shot" you mean getting hit by paintballs that bounce off bunkers and careen over the netting then yes, that happened a few times.

Manufacturers should make the netting stronger so that it womt rip lol

The netting is not ripping, the paint is bouncing off the bunkers traveling 300FPS and into the stands. It is going to happen. |

In the grandstands the most my party and I suffered were light taps from balls bouncing off bunkers. Nothing exploded on us and they didn't hurt. I guess we got lucky.

its happened to me as well. im just waiting till the day comes when a ball bounces off a bunker and hits someone in the eye.

Don't think its still traveling full speed, but the only way to prevent it is put the players in a glass box

or extend the netting to go higher. Or you can also put a top on the netting; that would require supports in the field though I would imagine.
oh you could also lower the level of the stands so they're always below the nets. |
