Huge leak, I think the solenoid blew...
Picked up an 04 Vike a while ago and was finally able today to use her today...for about 2 minutes. Aired her up and it chronoed wildly from 210-315. It would hiss and sound like a double fire with no rounds going through and even when I was able to bring it near to 290 it was jumping around badly. At about that moment, I hear a major leak from under the grip frame. Get her apart and sure enough it has a huge leak coming from the solenoid.
I put oil in it yesterday and messed around with it for about 20 minutes with no issues. Is it the noid or am I missing something.
If it is the noid, does anyone have an extra to sell?

I will suggest you take a look at this link, article number 3.
http://www.freewebs.com/spindoctorpaintball/howto.htm
Taken from this thread in the AKA FAQ & Stickies section:
http://www.pbnation.com/showthread.php?t=2066037
I would also suggest you check your HPR, set it to 200psi, then check the LPR, set it to 72psi and make sure it doesn't creep. LPR creeping could "blow" your solenoid or move the gasket. I had problems with a SCM(1) on my first viking, "blew" the solenoid at least 3-4 times, nothing a disassembly/reassembly of the solenoid didn't took care of, and the thing rocked solid once I upgraded the SCM's internals.

Took the noid apart, inspected and lubed. Turned the hpr and lpr down to zero. I slowly started to moved the hpr ( I have no gauges to read the exact pressure) while keeping the lpr at zero and the noid leaks roughly a turn and a half into it. Ideas? Send her to DC?

If you keep the LPR at 0 and up the HPR, and the solenoid starts to leak, then the LPR doesn't keep 0. Sidewinder's adjustment screw about flush with the bottom is about 200psi. Sidewinder adjusts up when you screw out, SCM adjusts up when you screw in. And when you screw up, I guess DC is always there.

I would rebuild the lpr and start from there.

Check if you have SCM1 or SCM3 internals while at it. If you have SCM1 internals, they can be a creeping pain to work with. Here's how to tell which one you have.
SCM1
SCM3

I have the SCM1.
I took as much of it apart as I could. The 4 hole valve didn't want to budge although the lower piston seems to have good spring tension. Since I got my Valhalla in I may just send this one in for an upgrade and tune. I'd prefer not to fubar anything up too much since I don't have the right tools for it.

If you have AKA guns I would highly suggest buying a tool kit with pressure gauge. The scm tool can be purchased too but you can use snap ring pliers if you like. You will be glad you bought one.

whats the reasoning? I've done it before I bought the tool, never damaged anything. I know lots of other people use them also... for everyone's info, they work on the scm... But if you have the 5 bucks you can buy the SCMIII tool

The reasoning is most people do damage things when the use the wrong tools..hence why the make the removal tool Trust me if you saw the things people have sent into the shop broken you would laugh..or sigh

Eh, I think a better response might be to simply drag the kid into the street and beat them.
