I'm pissed I waited so long to try and enlist. I feel like there isn't any point to do so if there isn't a war going on. Iraq is over and Afghanistan seems like it is boiling down. I feel like I won't get to see any action.
I always wanted to be one of those marine biologists that gets to explore the deep oceans. It'll never happen, but the idea that there are a plethora of undiscovered creatures swimming in our waters still fascinates me.
Edit: I think he's making a joke about how all soldiers are homosexuals.

Like someone else said. We will be in afghan A LONG time. Their "army" don't give a flying **** 1. 2 Someone REALLY ****ed and burned the Quran. Right after the burning of the Quran a person dressed as AA (afghan army) in broad daylight shot and killed 2 US soldiers. Then there is the case about the SSG involved in the mass cas incident with 16 afghani's dead.
