ive been reading all the forums about a fx all day and found a member on here selling one to me for a good price. he claims the feedneck sounds like air is coming out but after one shot it doesnt leak anymore. i asked if he lubed the rammer at all like i saw you werent supposed to do and he said he did but before i paypal the money to him i was just curious if you think that was the issue or not. it was bought in dec 2011 and i would be the second owner. i read that its a good gun but just making sure before i buy it whats everyone thoughts. im paying 360 shipped for it and i was just about to buy a g4 new online for 300. should i get the fx or just a new g4?

Well for 360 you could probably pick up one that's not leaking. I would only pay $280 or so for it.

I don't understand how air leaks up the feedneck. There could be blow back from the feedneck cause the air is channeled well with the stock bolt, but that wouldn't explain it stopping after one shot.

You are supposed to lube the ram and the regulator regularly.

For 360 you can get one that has ups to it as well. I would not pay 360 shipped, 300 at most.

The leak is most likely the poppit not seating correctly and is probably an easy fix but I wouldn't pay that price for a stock one.

When the Fx leaks from the solenoid it sounds like its coming from the feedneck area. The buy would be a crap shoot. The solenoid could just need a new oring or be lubed, or the solenoid is busted

hey all you need to do is get the g4 find some idiot with the invert mini and sell the invert for lets say 350$ then buy another g4 for 300 do the same thing then buy a good fx fusion

The only DP marker worth having at this point for that price range is a rev-i. Anything less would be uncivilized.

I agree, the rev-i was selling for 400.00 a year ago, so i would think the rev-i is worth around the 350.00 range now.
