THIS WOULD BE PERFECT! That with the new tippmann F/T would really help out the smaller players.

Curse you! Haha, I was just thinking that when I read this. The new TP-12 rental marker that Tippmann is coming out with looks very small and compact and probably a good bit lighter than the 98's. I think this would be a fantastic idea for field owners, or even just someone looking for a lighter tank for a younger player, perhaps.

Would we still be able to use our existing artwork on file to be printed on these new ones?
I would be interested as well but would like to see the shot count 1st.

roughly 350 shots. of course, this all depends on a lot of other factors as well.

I think it would be a good idea. The 13/22 tanks are too small and at 35 you would have a winner.
I would sell them at my store, especially if they would retail for the same as the 48. The younger kids and some pump players would be your market.

I would also be interested in this tank, helping the younger players gain interest in this sport is important to me. Sounds like an excellent tool to help build the player base. One of the biggest reasons I now own this business is because my 8 year old son fell in love with this sport our first time out before his 6th birthday. I really enjoy watching these young players overcome their fears on the paintball field.

Getting paid to have fun with my kids....priceless!

O RLY??

An overall lighter setup would be good for all customers, not just the young guns.

Also would benefit the short guys like Rob!!

Before his 6th birthday? Your son played paintball when he was 5?

This is a fantastic idea! The product will definitely sell, there is no question about it. I've worked at indoor and outdoor paintball fields in management, part time, and casual for 8 years and I've seen the young player/tank weight problem described every weekend!

Our first time out was a month before his 6th birthday, started hitting the field regularly shortly after when I bought our first round of equipment. Now we own the business. Now he is 8 and absolutely loves being at the field with all the players...and his dad

This tank looks great!

Didnt read through the entire thread so if this has already been mentioned, my bad.

The only problem I see with this is capacity. Rental markers are notoriously gas hogs and you already have to fill up every game or every other game as it is with a 48/3000. It really is a GREAT idea but I feel like in practice it would just create another problem for the rental player, especially at fields that dont have air around the staging area.

Solution? The only one I can think of at midnight off the top of my head would be package deals of 50/45's (possibly with covers included) for fields to use as rentals for smaller players. I'm sure cost for the field would be the issue here.

Checked out the 35ci tanks you sent to Legendary, they are awesome Rob. You guys did a great job on getting these out for kids that could use a shorter setup!
