Unhappy Fusion Fx problems

So I've had my fx for about 6 months with no problems. About 3 weeks go the eyes stopped working and my eyes covers blew off ... yes blew off. I took 3 shots and "ping" lol . I just wanted to see who else has had the problem with the eye covers??

Thanks

I had a similar thing happen but I only lost a single eye cover. Call DP and they'll most likely cover the cost of the replacement eye covers

just a thought...

did you change the stock detents to aftermarket ones? or the springs? coz i was thinking that the detents are putting pressure/stress to the eye covers when the bolt pushes the detents in when the marker fires....
just a thought.....

RandyDead and joe the gun tech, as Rottensquad said above, give them a call instead of an e-mail. Whenever I have called, I get someone right away. Calling seems to be the best and fastest was to get in touch with someone there. Here is their phone number in case you need it:

Mine had a few issues when I first got it but they seem to be worked out now. Most of those issues centered around the DP detents being too hard on the paint IMO. I switched to Spyder style detents in March and I have not had anymore breaks since. I am looking forward to the new APE OLED gen 5 board for it though because the stock OLED does have some glitches.

The most common that I have heard of is that on full-auto for some reason the gun doesnt shoot paint for each cycle. I think maybe the bolt isnt fully cycling or something, which would cause the next ball in the stack to not drop into the breach. It doesnt chop paint, so that is why I think that is the problem. I dont shoot that mode, so it doesnt bother me. Other than that, I love the gun!

You're right I've had this problem as well .. lol. If I remember correctly the fix to that prob. Is changing your dwell setting to 4. There's a YouTube video on it.

Another thread back from the dead!

All you have to do is not hulk strength tighten them on. Just tighten it till it's snug, then back it off a quarter of a turn.
