15. FALLSCHIRMPANZER COMPANY
The WEREWOLVES OF THE WEREMACHT
are highly motivated two-man anti-tank teams consisting of a Panzer Hunter and Panzer Gunner.
enhance the 6th Fallschirmjager Regiment’s firepower, while augmenting the varied means for destruction and harassment of the enemy. Whether a Panzer Hunter/Gunner Team is organic or attached, they will provide that unit with specific supporting fire.
The Panzer Hunter
(AT gunner, refer to Note 1) is equipped with a mandatory anti-tank weapon of choice, either a panzerfaust or panzerschreck. It is constructed by the player in accordance with (IAW) approved guidelines or uses a weapon issued on loan, if available. All weapons will be inspected for compliance prior to use and will be limited to 200 rounds of color specific anti-tank paint (refer to Note 2). Additionally, the Hunter has the option of slinging a normal paint-ball gun and unlimited field paint besides his anti-tank weapon. DO NOT waste precious anti-tank paint…lighting up smurfs!
The Panzer Hunter role is unique in that the Hunter is the only foot-soldier (soldaten) of the 6th Fallschirmjager Regiment with the means by which specified enemy targets can be engaged and destroyed. These high value enemy targets (marked with Kill-Plates) include aircraft, bunkers, command vehicles, heavy weapons and tanks (panzers).
Other players, NOT qualified as anti-tank specialists nor equipped with these specific anti-tank weapons and color specific anti-tank paint, can engage these high-value enemy targets but NOT DESTROY them. Only the Hunter can engage and destroy.
A Panzer Gunner
(Observer) is equipped with his own weapon of choice, (normal paint-ball gun and unlimited field paint) providing over-watch for the Panzer Hunter and must be vigilant about potential threats and in identifying targets. In addition, because a Panzer Hunter can experience tunnel vision while stalking his prey, a Panzer Gunner must maintain good situational awareness under stress while completing his other assigned duties. Note: The Gunner is not personally equipped with the necessary weaponry to destroy the mentioned high-valve enemy targets.
The Gunner protects the Hunter, assists in target destruction and lays waste to all smurfs who get in the way!
Enemy aircraft, tanks and heavy weapons are force multipliers
. Their very presence threatens the survival of friendly troops on the battlefield, frightens soldiers, lowers morale, slows movement, and adds confusion to operations.
THEY MUST BE DESTROYED!
