2010 DYE NT10 Problem

So i recently got this nt in a trade, came not shooting.

its known problems are the bolt wont cycle and makes a SOFT Puff when u try to shoot it. i thought maybe a solinoid problem but i changed it..

dwell ive messed with too, tried 7-20ms sometimes it worked and other times it didnt.

Im thinking either internal bolt problem or Reg problems but ive tried turning the reg around and such .

help me out.

try to find a hpr pressure tester. it should be around 135 on an nt10. watch the pressure for a min and if it keeps creeping up, you need a reg seat. if you dont have a pressure tester, just take the reg apart and check the seat. if it has a ring worn in it, flip it or replace it and i recommend starting at 4 1/2 turns, find a chrono and set to desired fps.

RELUBE YOUR SPOOL (the part inside the plunger)
if it dries out it will give your the puff
set your dwell at 8 or 9

Take the reg apart and relube everything if the battery and lubing the bolt doesn't work

Based on what's been done, I'd reset the dwell to 9ms, have a good battery and then examine the following o-rings: one of the o-rings on the bolt (either the dynamic bolt o-ring or the bumper), the can inner dynamic o-ring, or one of the two o-rings on the spool plunger. Doubtful it's the bumper o-ring as that's more of an NT11 issue, but just make sure it's not bloated or destroyed.

If those don't fix it then I'd move to the regulator itself. Check the pressure and clean and lube it (replace o-rings if needed).

After that I'd move to the inner spool although I doubt it's that.
