Hostile Creations Rogue+
As much as I love the look and feel of this gun, why did they choose a threaded feedneck? In this price range, I'm surprised by the lack of an integrated clamping feedneck.
Any current users care to comment on it? I once dealt with a stripped feednack on a Timmy clone from a previous owner. Red loctite fixed that problem, but it was a problem.

I see it on their site. Dying to pick one up, torn between this and the Drone DX. I love the front grip design of this one.

Hey xmc,
Hostile Creations no longer supports the Rogue (they still have their paint though ). Hostile Creations was the company that was going to release it but ran into an issue with the factory making them. The Tiawan-based factory decided to sell them directly under the name Hostile, Inc. Here is the site with the Rogue: http://www.hostileinc.com/

wrong.
A Taiwan factory was producing the rogue, which was designed by Hostile Creations. The testers were given the rogues to find all the kinks (which happened to be the bolt, reg, detents and asa). those were fixed and the gun shoots amazing (i pick mine up more then my luxe).
But due to circumstances I will not go into, Hostile Creations decided to not produce/sell the makers. The Taiwan factory, however, decided they were going to continue to make parts and sell the gun. I do not know if the Rogue+'s have all of the updated parts though, so be wary.

The only other problems were that the bolt was a bit too short, causing rollback and therefore chopping. The reg was not as consistent as they wanted so they changed it so it is much more consistent now. The Asa was changed because most people couldn't use HP tanks without blowing the pin o-ring, which now the new one is perfect and can work on any pressure.

I had a rogue and loved it! traded it away but was real sad to see it go. I will absolutely be following the new Rogue+ and if the kinks (should note that I never had a problem) get worked out and they come with the new parts I will be looking to get my hands back on one.

How does it compare to other spools on the market right now? Someone is offering me a trade on one, I want to try it out if it's any good.

i pick mine up just as much if not more then my luxe. i would deff take it over a clone vx, over a geo2 all day as well. always thought the geo2 was the lower of the high end spools (between clone, dms and luxe)

last i heard from Will was that they didn't implement the changes to the bolt and other parts, so they didn't go forward with the official release.
