Oppertunity of a lifetime.... I think
If yall had the oppertunity to buy a new high dollor marker what would yall pick
WHAT MADE ME MAKE THIS POLE BELOW:
So i went to my local field yesterday and was goin to play with some of my buddies, well me and my local fields owner are pretty good buddies. It just so happen that he purchased a LUXE 2.0. the day before
He calls me over and hidden in a nice shiny case that prolly cost more than my setup lol was laying a Luxe 2.0
I pulled it out and turned it on and the marker say, " powering on" and i was astounded, a marker that talks to you.
i got the oppertunity to shoot it and OMG is it amazing, it is so accurate and flawless on every component
Im a newb so yall might be like, " this guy acts like hes never seen a luxe before" lol its because i havnt
But now i want one

If your asking which one to buy, go hold each! Personally, I would go:
Luxe-Bob Long G6R12-Ego 11, DM12

The ego11 would probably be the best bet. The luxe is very unreliable, and requires high maintenance. And since the bolt is so complex, many things can go wrongs in the bolt. In the dm12, it's just so many orings. And it's just annoying. More orings means more oring breks, which means more leaks and problems.

Ego 11 for sure, only because I'm more of a poppet person. And, you can't beat Eclipse reliability and consistency!!!

None of the above.
I'd buy a Racegun. Of course, I'm more the nostalgic type, so...
If I had to choose, I'd probably go with the Ego 11. It's tried-and-true, fires fast and accurately, and PE is just an awesome company all around! Do it!

If you are new, DO NOT GET A LUXE. They require maintenance like every other high end marker, but if you dont know what you are doing, then get an ego.

1. learn to spell and use grammar. You go to school for a reason.
2. What about the Regency Crome/Crome2, Vanguard Demon or Creed, Alien Independence, Alien Invasion, G6r, G6r12, Victory, V2 Victory, Ripper Victory, Any Gen1 Marqs, MacDev Cyborg RX, MacDev Clone/V2/VX/GT, Eigenringed DM11, or, what I think would best suit you, an HK Army Infinity Legend. With V2 ram and rhino1xl spring, of course.
But best of all, the Angel SB/A1 Fly SE. Now that's a winning "oppertunity"

My brothers owns a luxe and from what I have seen its a pain in the *** to take care of it its all not just right nothing will work. Plus if you don't have a grand on ya I would look for another gun. I would go with the ego.

I was hoping that maybe he was going to give you the hookup on a new gun, or give you the old gun that his new Luxe replaced. Something feel-good like that.
The chance to spend $2000 or whatever it takes to start living the Luxe-erific lifestyle these days, is definitely not the opportunity of a lifetime.
Do some research, maybe talk to your field owner, since he might be in the know, and find yourself a good, used high-end marker and setup. Then use the rest of that ridiculous sum of money you were going to spend on a new Luxe or Ego to play a lot of paintball and improve your skills. Working hard and learning to play the game right, at a high level, could lead to an actual "lifetime" sort of opportunity. Rather than just a chance to spend a bunch of money on something frivolous.
