It pisses me off how every company thinks that adding useless plastic and rails on a gun automatically makes it a 'scenario' gun.
I ply a lot of scenarios. Since I started I have had an ion, mini, g3, ego, shocker, and a few others in there.
Oh no. How dare I use a gun with no rails in a scenario game.

I don't think it's stupid. It's personal preference. Some people like their paintball gun to look like a real gun hence the term "MILSIM" (Military Simulation). I don't play in the woods that often. But If I did I might consider this if the price is right.

lol i already posted on here but this convo seems so devolved now that i wanna post again. i don't know anything about how sights work whether its occluded? (sp?) or any other kind but as someone else mentioned sights in paintball are about as useful as bacon in baghdad . I also think its gonna cost a lot. and while i can see milsim players and a lot of woodsball players and scenario players or whatever u wanna call them buying the etha and then buying this kit. ive played with a tippmann and ive played with an etek and ive played w an ego and i would throw down w the planet eclipse guns any day of the week whether it be indoor, outdoor, woodsball, speedball, scenario ball anything you can think of. the etha is a great gun and giving it a few bells and whistles is pretty sweet and nothing other companies haven't already done.. as someone else said as well. NOW the real question is wtf kind of headband is the guy in the ad wearing?!?!

I'm curious to see how much this will cost? Its good to see that the industry is continuing to branch out in to this market.

I'm guessing the $100-$150 price range, it seems like a good range comparatively for what some of the milsim guys pay for body kits and other stuff similar to this.

I'm with you reaper. All my team does is play scenarios. We where sponsored by Smart Parts at one point and we shot NXT and SFT shockers. Now we shoot a combination of Shockers, Geos, Egos, Mags, mech cockers, Karnivors, cocker pumps, etc.

You are right it is personal preference, but it is a fact that a heavier gun is a harder to use gun. Adding two pounds of weight to a gun doesn't make it "better for woodsball". It makes it worse.

I don't think the argument here is whether a milsim or speedball gun is better for scenario/woodsball games. Personally I shoot whatever gun I haven't whored out at scenario games (usually PE) but I know tons of guys that love their bulky and heavy Tippmanns just as much as I love my Ego/Geo. It's purely player preference. PE is just trying to get into a niche market by offering a very customizable platform.

Again, it boils down to personal preference. Two pounds really isn't that much of a difference to a lot of people and a lot of times that extra weight is essential to some players (LAW rockets etc).

If someone wants to add this to the gun then it's the choice of the op it should not make a diffrence if it's woodball or speedball it's their choice.

If 2lbs is to heavy for youu to add to your gun you need to hit the gym.

I was wondering why the Etha was so plain-looking compared to the rest of PE's line-up.
