i just watched the carr highlights video and besides him getting one good interception off of it looks like orton, he didnt do a single thing other then pick up some knocked out fumbles and catch a few ints that should have never been thrown in the first place. also mcnabb stopped him dead in his tracks lol.
im not too sold on him after that video. it makes me think he just looked pretty good because there were worse players around him that the qbs would throw to instead. kinda like the nnamdi effect if you will.
also i wouldnt be surprised if the cowboys dont see the playoffs again this year. they would need to SERIOUSLY step up their o and d lines to have a decent chance.

Hardly. The fusion does not have to be broken to sideline Manning. A fusion eliminates the motion of the fused joint*, causing the joints above and below to have to move more to retain the same or close to the same degree of motion of the neck. The additional wear and tear on the adjacent disc levels makes them more susceptible to injury. Damage to one of those discs resulting in a new herniated disc would pretty much end Manning's career on the field. Also, Manning will be more susceptible to neurologic damage in his neck, and that could affect his ability to throw the ball.
*Each disc level in the spine isa joint.
