Dm12 proto is incoming, tester will have it as early as this week, already got a quote on it from my short-run machinist so as soon as we're good it will get ordered.
DM12 geometry may actually be the best of the bunch

Definitely the way to go, reliability > all else when when it comes time to win an event

what would you guys recommend on my dm7, with the ring i can get the bolt fully cycling and shooting at 13 dwell, lpr 3 1/2 turns out. Or when i high dwell alot more 19-21 i can put lpr at like 2 turns out. Even at 21 dwell my efficiency is pretty good, so my main concern is getting this thing as smooth and quiet with least amount of kick as i possibly can. Some recommendations/insight would be helpfull.

This past weekend I tried tuning the marker first at 21 and then at 16 and honestly, the lower dwell seemed better. It might have just been my gun but having the dwell higher didn't seem to help any while having the eigenring in. I personally thought the shot was smoother at a dwell of 16. The efficiency was also much better at the lower dwell setting, obviously.
My DM7 is running a dwell of 16 with the lpr about 3.5-4 turns out. This is with the stock non-polished bolt.

That sounds right, smoother at a lower dwell. Did you try lowering your lpr anymore?

I did but I was having issues with bolt stick and inconsistency. The DM7 lpr is different I believe. I think it allows for smaller adjustments or something. The stock setting is 5 turns out as opposed to 3.
I'm going to let my orings wear in a bit more and see if I can lower it some more. I just did a complete oring change on the bolt last week.

hmm to be honest i felt like mine was still the smoothest when i played at 21 dwell since i can get my lpr to like 1 1/2-2 turns out, as opposed to like 3 1/2-4. Ill try 16 again and try to compare it to 21. Thing is it takes so long re adjusting that i forget how it feels and sounds lol. I should record that **** or something.

Well if your lpr is able to go lower with the higher dwell then yeah, it should feel smoother. If I put my lpr lower I would start having issues with bolt stick and such. Do you have a polished bolt?

Just to update from earlier. My lpr was actually set to about 3.5 with dwell of 16. This is what is working for me.

Have my dwell at 14, lpr is at 3.5ish turns out and seems to cycle fine.

I think i've pretty much given up on my eigenring in my dm11.
I'm getting huge fsdo and bigger inconsistency with it installed, I've tried dwells in .5 increments from 14 to 18ms. I also adjusted my lpr to compensate with no positive effects. Swapped lubes with no effect.
What is your return policy, Lurker?

Installed on my DM11 last week - tuned it on Sunday - dwell at 18, LPR at 2 3/4 turns out (prior to my dwell was 21 and LPR 3 1/2 turns out) - shooting 285 +/- 5 consistently... seems to be much smoother but not sure on efficiency yet. I'll have a better chance to evaluate at practice this coming weekend.
