G6R2012 Cam Drive Problem
I just purchased my g6r2012, but there is a problem with the pin in the ASA, it won't depress all the way into the brass housing and degas the marker, the marker airs up when the cam drive is off and I screw in the tank a few turns. I am using a Ninja SLP reg on my tank. I made sure the pin is facing the correct way coming out of the housing, (just double checked and it is facing the same way as my victory and ripper) I love the way this gun shoots but it bothers me that I can't degas or screw in a tank without airing it up! I have taken the cam drive completely apart (except for the brass housing because i did not want to mangle it) and ensured it is put back together correctly.
I have called blast and they didn't know what the problem was and wanted me to send it in. But the season has started and living in NY, turn around time from California sucks to deal with.
Any one have any suggestions before I break down and send it in?
Thanks in advance.
Ken

It's a problem with the pin in the tank, not the asa. Contact ninja paintball, they'll get you right

Ken,
There is a thread already about this a few posts down:
http://www.pbnation.com/showthread.php?t=3771893
Please give us a call at 877-646-5287, anyone that answers can help you out. Just let us know you got one of the PRO SLPs and a newer G6R and that you need a longer pin for your reg to work with your marker. We'll ship one out to you at no charge a day or two after you call us.
Thanks,
Rob

Gentlemen,
I do not have the PRO SLP Reg, and the problem as far as i can tell is not with the tank. I screw in the same tank to a teammates G6r12, my 2011 victory, and my ripper and there isn't an issue. the pin does not sit flush with the brass housing inside the asa when the nickel cam drive knob is in the off position. it does however sit flush against the housing on my other bob long guns including a teammates g6r12. the pin in the asa protrudes maybe a millimeter past flush.
