[MU WISCOBALLER]

Hey guys,

I have an idea. I would like to see all the Wisconsin ballers get together semi-regularly. How about an event, every two months, that moves field to field. I would propose the first one, at Brew City, on April 14th. I want to set it far enough in advance that people can plan for it. I will also talk to the field owner, and get him on board. Saturdays are typically the mil-sim setup, but I can see about having the PSP set up for the group. I would not like to set up a private party, as the more paintballers, the better. So, please all active Wisconsin ballers, post in here, because I would like to know:

Was thinking the next one could be around the green bay area, or Madison/Janesville area. I know of two field in the Madison/Janesville area that I could contact. (Edge and Apocalypse)

The 14th for the first event is a bad idea. That's the weekend of ncpa nationals if it changes I would probably get a team in

great idea my home field is BP paintball in centeral wisco i thnk they would be down with something like this if you talked to them about it

commando would be cool too for all the guys in greenbay and in northern wisconsin. they have a pretty good x-ball field and host a bunch of tourneys there

Reasonable criticisms of this idea would be things like, no prize purse, other events in the mw competing with your event, and funding for each individual team to attend. When you face reality a team can only budget in so much extra on top of practices for nationals and the events themselves.

The fact that some of these fields would be a 2 hour commute for some of us needs to make the potential winnings worthwhile. Noone in their right mind will commute that distance for just a casual day of games. Maybe consider a WI league, but then you have to round up promoters on top of get permission from all the local field owners who would host.

Considering no one followed the format I asked for in the beginning, no, its not going anywhere.
