HELP! Wiring Issue???

hey y'all.

i took a gamble on an epiphany for $35 from a kid that had no idea what it was. the battery was dead so i figured that was the problem as it wouldnt turn on.

I replaced the battery and when i press and hold the power button it blinks a few times and then fades away and does not emit and blinking or color until you disconnect and reconnect the battery, and then does the same thing.

is this a simple fix?

any ideas on what it could be?

thanks in advance.

Not too sure, but it sounds like the capacitor isn't holding the charge very long and will likely need to be replaced. If that is the only issue, it shouldn't be too hard to fix as long as you have experience in soldering and if you find an equivalent capacitor.
