My 2011 G6r turns on to a blue flashing led because the the breech is open and no ball in place. If I slide the bolt forward it turns solid blue. Remove your eyes completely from the marker and clean them again. I had one a while back that had a thin layer of dried paint in the hole on the pcb. I dug it out with a tooth pick. It was like a little contact lens over the sensor causing it to not read properly.
