SS-25 auto trig drop off+ leak

hey everyone, just bought an ss-25 used. As soon as it got here I cocked the rod and plugged in my tank and heard a leaking sound coming from the body. I quickly unscrewed the tank and re-screwed in the tank two different times and the leak seems to have subsided(anyone know what could have caused that??) 2nd I don't have a chrono at home so i cant tell for sure if my marker is shooting inconsistent but it sure seems to look like it. 3rd I started to auto trig and got MAJOR drop off. My balls wernt even making it across the yard.... any knowledge would be much appreciated! thanks all!

Adjust your lug so you're autotrigger is timed correctly. Look it up on Youtube if you don't know how to do it.

you want it to fire when your bolt is just about closed. that would definately explain the issues you're having when autotriggering... all the air is escaping before pushing ball out the barrel.

i think there is a screw in the bottom of the trigger gaurd where it meets the frame, this should be the forward stoping point for the trigger, if you screw it in it will reduce the forward travel

correct, but if your lug is setup properly this wouldn't be an issue.

another fun little tip I like to show people is setting the cocking rod up properly so that your gun doesn't allow the bolt to go to far back (thus double feeding)

Check for trigger wear. With a marker that old - you may have wear in the trigger from the AT that complicates things.

TF knows his guns, plus if you go to the website he has a vid on how to set up your autotrigger.
