He means if you need "fast cash" like you posted in the OP, you wouldn't wait long enough to find a buyer at $50. If someone wanted a gift card at face value.. They'd buy one from amazon.

Why would anybody buy a gift card from you and wait for you to ship it and for it to be delivered, when we can just buy it off amazon for the same price and have it delivered instantly?
