Damn. This makes me want a Hybrid Halo again.

FFFFUUUUUUU NEW PRODUCTS WHICH SEEMINGLY DO NOT SUCK.

ANd I would say only about 40% of people have something Proph v2 and better here, and we're in norcal.

The majority of painters barely have over 1 of anything as far as gear is concerned, and that's in most places.

Seeing as this guy basically designed the rotor, I am sure this will work good. I personally couldn't go back to a halo simply from the disassembly aspect, but there are still a ton of them out there (especially in the trees). On the tournament side, the marker is starting to get more and more dominated by the Prophecy, Z2, and Rotor

Noobies and rec ballers make up the vast majority of our sport. They aren't going to spend $150 on a Rotor or Z2. They are going to buy a Halo for $50 or a Velocity for $35.

Just because we see tourney guys in the magazines, in the internet stories and articles doesn't mean they out number the rookies.

looks great, however i have a few questions.

one factor of the prophecy, IIRC, is that the top and bottom cones are truly independent. is this similar? or if the bottom one slips, does the top as well.

this also obviously removes the spring tension of the system - does this include some sort of built in pressure system? the 'fingers' lead me to believe no, but maybe there is something that i'm missing.

i do understand that the loader reacts quite fast, but one thing i loved about the halo, is that the spring itself reacts instantly. i doubt my mini could outshoot this without the spring... but it was designed that way for a reason right?

this is another situation where everyone will have a story of how many or how few rotors/z2's at their field. The one I go to it is aboutn 70-80% rotors on the speedball field and maybe 25-30% on the rec field.

I still have yet to find a reason to replace my hybrid shelled relB, feeds fast enough with 0 breaks in years.

Looks nice Just a shame that the halo is getting phased out. I still love them, but I've turned to the rotor because of my tendency to destroy halo shells.

You have downs...Period.

I like this product, but it seems as thought it's a bit outdated. However, it seems as though every time I hit the field, someone or another has a Halo / Reloader B.

Best of luck to you.

I've still got a few Halos kicking it in my closet, maybe it's time to dust one of them off and give this kit a whirl when it becomes available.

Looks like a legit product. Bring it to Asia and you could very well see it flying off the shelves. Simple and cheap upgrades is far better than buying a whole new loader anytime.

  1. No Upping threads. If you have something to say, please do, but don't post in the thread just to take it to the top of the forum.
  2. Do not post "1st post", "1st", "First post" or anything similar (or with any other number) at any point in a thread, even if you post a comment too. It is really annoying and it will result in a ban.
