dwell was set to factory settings and we tried shooting with the eyes off and on either way all we get is the clicking of the solenoid...no shot...right now were servicing the noid and seeing if that helps...i read someone else had the same problem and servicing the noid helped

Yeah I would first try getting all the stock lube off of the Fx. Put some quality lube like a Dow 33 and see if that helps

ok we just relubed the solenoid and re seviced the whole gun with hater sauce...replaced all the parts and set the board to factory settings and nothing...all i get is a click of the solenoid....Ive traced the air all the way to the lpr and thats the last place i can see that the air makes it too....i doubt theres air making it to the solenoid
Mind you this is the FIRST time hes aired this gun up and immediately theres a problem

Have you adjusted the reg at all? Does the bolt move freely?

bolt will move freely with the tension from the spring irreguardless of air flow or not. there isnt air to the ram till after the noid cycles..
remove the frame and there is an orange screw that goes into the body. remove that, air on the marker and if there is flow there then air is getting to the noid. if there is no air then the reg needs to be adjusted..

Honestly it sounds like the reg may be over-pressurizing the solenoid. I would recommend bottoming the reg out at 0 and slowly turning the adjuster out counter-clockwise to see if the marker will now cycle.

It's ANS' fault, not DP's.

return it. if i get anything from anywhere that does not work i return it to the distributor for another one. there is no reason for the consumer to to have to try to fix it or deal with sending it to the manufacturer.
DOA means RMA

While we were going through the check list of what could be the problem..my friend was on a live chat through the ANS website and they informed him..if the gun was not functioning to contact DP themselves. So it seems like ANS doesn't want the problem and their handing it of to the manufacture....

Threaten to contact the Better Business Bureau on them. That doesn't seem right at all. If they sell you a non functioning product they should take the return/exchange. They should deal with the manufacturer regarding the defective product. Have him ask to talk to a supervisor when he calls again.
