Could be.
How's your paint fit? Are you getting any rollouts?

I dont really remember on the paint. I do believe Ive tried several different types of paint and I dont think Ive had any roll out. I was gonna go with the washer idea before but I couldnt find any that fit quite right.

Try pennies/ dimes, those might fit in the back or make a local trip to the hardware store and see if you can find the right washers to fit.

if youre good with a drill you can drill a hole in the center of the rear cap below the bolt, thread it and use a set screw that fits the hole you drilled, you will still have to put something behind the spring between it and the set screw but you will then have made yourself a rear velocity adjuster ..

should only take a few minutes and cost about 1.00

you can find details if you google it.

The RVA is a good one.
Another cheap alternative is to get a small socket head screw, similar to what is used to mount asas, put it behind the spring and and it should be okay.

The RVA mod is preferred.
