I dont know about anyone else but the goggles look like the proto masks and the crossover looks like every other marker that is coming out now. Dont get me wrong the crossover is pretty cool in concept and application but the design of it could have been a bit more original

That crossover is very impressive looking. Reminds me of the days of the Emag and Xmag

It looks similar to other markers in the sense that a Ferrari Spyder looks like a Miata. They are both two-seater convertibles that come in red. I'm not exactly sure what you want it to look like, as you can't really deviate from the norm too much without annoying users.

On that note ANGEL created anew mask that is like totally different from all of the others. But the mask looks good aside from the many many slits around the mouth area, i understand venting ur hot breath is important but just looks kind of drab with so many, tho at a decent price id still buy it cuz it would still keep my face intact during an intense game.

i really like the crossover with antichop eyes that could possibly become a entry level gun, it could become like the ion was. hopefully with out the problems. im really impressed i am deff going to use this on the field, if its as reliable or even half as reliable as the 98 it would be great for this price range. but now that i looked up the price its more of a mid level gun. and with guns like the axe and etha a etek and older egos and all the other amazing guns that you can get a good deal. so i dont think that they are just going to walk onto the scene and put a crossover in everyones hands, i think that its going to be a slow start but with a couple seasons they may have a marker in good contention.

I agree. I think this price is a bit too steep to appeal to their target audience. If you're trying to make something for new players to introduce them to speedball, this is too expensive to get them started.
You can get a 98 for $100-$150 or an A5 for $150-$200. That's relatively cheap, but still a chunk of change for most people. Sure they can drop $150 on a 98 or an A5, but that risks them really getting into the sport, and then having to buy another marker if they want to get into competitive speedball. They're left risking $150 on which format they'll choose.

Don't get me wrong, this is awesome that they're doing this. Tippmann's got some power behind its name and I'm happy they're getting into the electro world. This gives me some place to point new people when they start asking about markers. But that's just not a price tag that will appeal to the recballers. Too expensive. Drop it to like $250, then you can convince them to spend the extra $50 and get a gun that can do anything they want.

Looks like the old PMI's with the body flipping open. Great for maintenance and you only have to deal with one pin. Great to see paintball companies listening to the customer bases and providing the basic essentials that markers need at any level.

I'd say "OH LOOK! TIPPMANN MADE AN ION!" but it actually sounds pretty interesting, and looks pretty decent. They shoulda done that about 3 years ago, though.

Why would you pay $450 for a heavy, bulky Tippmann when you can just buy an Axe which destroys the Crossover in every way? Good idea but Tippmann needs to stick with Woodsball

Thing is, they aren't just trying to make a pure speedball marker. This would be the marker for that guy who wants "just one gun". There are certainly better markers for woodsball or speedball, but this one is supposed to do both.

I think that market they are going for may be a lil small, but for that market, it's pretty much perfect. Flip a switch, maybe swap a barrel, and go from trees to air bunkers.

Crossover looks great, would be an interesting gun to toy around with.
NEW RENTAL GUN!? I am excited for these, so sick of ripping apart 98s for two days.
